Tory's Tourney for Jesse's Journey Raised $27,000 |
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all our sponsors and to all those who stepped up to the tee on Aug. 13th at Lakewood Golf Course to fight for a cure for Muscular Dystrophy. |
An amazing $27,000 for research was raised as the culmination of a fundraising initiative by families, friends and acquaintances who simply believe that parents should not outlive their children. |
Indeed, this effort is a result of families and friends united and committed to helping these children grow up. |
We have truly witnessed what can be accomplished through the generosity of ordinary people who care. This is what Jesse's Journey is all about. A special thank you goes out to Jesse's father John Davidson, whose presence along with Rick Moss, managing director of Jesse's Journey, was truly a gift on this day, for allowing us a channel of hope. |
We are comforted by the knowledge that every dollar raised will go directly toward research and bring us closer to a cure for this devastating disease. |
May God bless all those who joined us in this journey for a cure. We look forward to next year when we will once again have great fun on the course while fighting for our cause. |
